Coaching is not counseling

Coaching/Consulting is not counseling, therapy, medical recommendations, mental healthcare or a replacement for medical treatment. Counseling is evidence-based psychotherapy, a form of medical treatment provided by a trained, licensed and regulated mental health professional, for diagnosed illnesses.

Coaching/Consulting is for people who are basically well adjusted, emotionally healthy enough, functioning fairly effectively, and wanting to make improvements in their lives.

Coaching, Consulting & Counseling all are conducted with compassion, empathy and non-judgement. All are Client driven and strength-based practices that incorporate mindfulness, support, and goal setting.
